Guest Bloggers Wanted

From the Editor-In-Chief of Anything Jazz Blog A Zine

Top O' the Mornin' To Ya!

Anything Jazz Blog A Zine is a new blog/e-magazine discussing and sharing information about jazz history and current jazz artists showcasing some great vibes, linking to excellent videos, and revealing insightful information about the world of jazz. This blog-a-zine is being published on a monthly basis.

We are looking for guest bloggers who can write good original articles about jazz past and present.
You don't necessarily have to be a famous writer or critic, just someone who loves the genre and has something positive to way in an interesting way.

We are publishing monthly but this does not affect you, the guest blogger. We would publish your article as soon as it is submitted, approved, and edited. This means that once you have something written, it does not necessarily have to wait for regular publishing date.

What this also means is that after your article is published and shared around the internet, we also add a summary and link to your article in the next regularly scheduled publishing date.

Clear as mud, right?

Articles need to be about JAZZ. JAZZ RELATED is acceptable. R & B on the jazz side is OK, as well as articles about big bands, theme music (jazz influenced), or even rock that has a strong jazz flavor.

(If your article is really about blues, you're on the wrong page! Go to our Chicago Blues Page instead.)

Here are some rules about submission:

1. You do not get paid, you get exposure
2. You get listed as a regular guest blogger if you submit 5 blogs each year.
3. Your article must not be an affiliate article

4. We reserve the right to edit your article, but you own the copyright, and you get the by-line
5. Art, photos, videos or music must have permission from the creators. If royalty free, we need proof.
6. Anything unprofessional, contains vulgarity or nudity, or is disparaging to someone’s character is rejected.

7. We may write an introduction to your article or append a closing statement.
8. We want your best work and so it should not appear at any other site, or appear in a re-hashed version.
9. We would like at least 300 words.

10. Write a thesis statement about your subject so we can highlight it for the beginning of the article.
11. If possible, send us a jpg of yourself so we can attach it to our blog or posts.
12. If submitting an article with links to sites or other articles, send in html.

These rules are non-exclusive and may be appended, amended, or changed in any way.

The BENEFITS:

You get exposure and will be considered more than an authority on jazz, you will be considered an entrepreneurial trail blazer by helping our fledgling blog grow in popularity.

Done the right way, we can attach links that you want in your articles to help drive traffic to you. Please also direct people our way, too!

If you have a product that is sold on Amazon (book, cd, etc), we will place that ad on our blog. Yes, we want to sell your product for you and we only get a tiny affiliate fee from the big boys.

Interested? Fill out the contact box on our main page.

Thank YOU!
